Again as explained a tough week but La Brie is such a lovely peaceful and tranquil venue. Proper drive and survive which we love.

General Comments:

It was Wednesday when the bailiff came out to our swim, which gave me 2 full days to towards the end of the week to make something happen which was too late unfortunately

Details of your catches:

I had 2 commons one at 38.09 & 53.03 and one mirror at 33.13 and 9 other carp and 1 pike was caught.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

I found ronnies with stiff booms and blow back rigs worked best with bright yellow hook baits! I was dropping my rigs with a handful of hose pellets , maize and flaked maize out the boat then catapulted a few hand fulls of dna bug boilies worked for me.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes there were tidy, peg 1 had a fair amount of beer bottle lids, fag butts and barbed rigs left but I cleaned it all up.

Yes it’s easy to get to fishing and facilities ain’t bad!

Yes 100% it was my first time going to France on a fishing holiday and Angling Lines made it easier.

General Comments:

Would have been better if we didn’t have to go to the other lake first this took a few hours out of our trip. The prices on the website for mats were wrong and we was charged more on site. *Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry for the discrepancy with the mat hire price on our website, we have now amended this.

Brie is truly a gem I'd not hesitate to recommend it only to someone I would trust to treat it with respect it deserves, its a special place
