General Comments:

Very quiet + peaceful lake + surroundings. Fish al in very good condition, just too many pasties this week. Can’t grumble, even Lee puzzled by Wed. But good time never the less. Lee + Tracy were great, nothing too much bother. Thanks

Details of your catches:

Biggest fish 32lb 5oz mirror, smallest 26lb common. Had 11 fish between us. Weather was against us torrential rain for 4 days, no night fishing.

We used the lake boilies, Rahja spice and Pineapple.

Most of the bigger carp fell to snowman rigs. No particular spot produced more than one fish, so try different places. Matrix, Rahja, Crab and tiger nut hook baits produced a fish or two.

General Comments:

Very peaceful setting with good facilities and although we didn’t have the food package, there was good information about what was on offer at the cottage. We used the bar-b by the lake daily; there is a supermarket within easy reach on quiet roads. Fishing was slow this week, but did not detract from the overall enjoyment.
