3 Mirror Carp (29lb 8oz, 24lb 0oz, 14lb 4oz), 1 Common Carp (28lb 4oz), 2 Grass Carp (12lb and 14lb, plus a smaller one), 1 Ghost Carp (even smaller).

Nothing really worked well, the fish had sex on the mind, but halibut pellet and maize over pellet caught the most.

General Comments:

Lee, Tracy & Family really welcoming. Loved the peace and tranquillity of the lake and the whole package. Shame about the fishing but you can’t have everything. (Note from Lee: Just wanted to mention that John only fished the days as he preferred his creature comforts in the evening, as opposed to creepy creatures at the lakes!)

General Comments:

Slow start due to spawning, but picked up due to weather cooling. Accurate casting is essential; don’t be afraid to re-cast. Reeds give you more runs in the hot weather. We had ‘Steak & Mushroom Pie’ and desert one evening and thought it was very nice; it was great that it was brought down to the lakes for us.
