Additional Stocking at Lepinet, 19th Nov

This November owner Sebastien has carried out additional stockings of 200 carp to bolster the stock in Lepinet and ensure it continues to provide the good mix of big carp and also runs that the lake is so well known for.

Of the 200 additional carp stocked, the rough breakdown of sizes is as follows:
25% between 30-40lb (approx 50 carp)
65% between 20-30lb (approx 130 carp)
10% between 10-20lb (approx 20 carp)

This was a large investment into the future of Lepinet, with a head of carp now estimated to be over 700. See some of our favourites from the stockings below.

Recommendations for fishing at Lepinet Lake, 14th Apr

For the 1st week of April, the anglers at Lepinet Lake caught a total of 80 fish, with the biggest coming in at 57lb!

For this time of year, the owner recommends fruity pine apple and monster crab meat. Per fisherman: - 10 kg of boilies - 25kg pellet - 20kg seed but when the waters get warmer, these quantities will need to be increased.
