Andy, Dave, Mark & Tony arrived at Lillypool on Sept 12th 2012 on a mission... to break the lake catch record of 80 carp for the week set in April 2012. And break it they did taking 85 carp from 19 to 36lb, including new p.b for Dave and a 36lb common for Andy. In this short clip we share some of the action, plus an interview with the happy anglers.

Father & son, Dave & James, experienced some prolific fishing at Lillypool, w/c 11th June 2011. By the time our cameraman joined them on the Thursday they'd caught 64 carp. In this short clip we share some of the action, plus get an insight into the tactics they used.

More big carp stocked - Jan '11

We've been after a carp of above 50lb for Lillypool for a while now, but they are as rare as hens teeth. Finally I got the phone call on Tuesday night to say she was on her way. It was a cold wet night, but at 8.30pm I had the pleasure of seeing her in the oxygenated tank and then carrying her the short walk to the lakes edge. After confirming her weight at 51lb, taking photo's and a video, I got into the water for one last shot before letting her gently slip into her new home.
