Lost count of the amount of carp I had, I think it was between 20-25 to 48lb

Snowman rigs using 2-3kg of bait over each rod

Nice facilities but they are a long walk from the lake so go prepared 😁

General Comments:

Brocard large is a true gem. Don't be put off by the larger size. There are more than enough carp to keep you busy and the surroundings are just incredible. The forest gives the most amazing morning chorus and the wildlife surrounding you is dreamy! A real Gem!

48 fish to 49lb 8oz. 6 over 45lb. Smallest around 20lb with the majority in the 32lb to 40lb range.

Small Essential Cell wafters fished over maize, crushed Essential Cell boilies and hemp. Approx 1/2 kilo everytime the boat went out.

General Comments:

Brocard Large has been the best fishery we’ve visited in France so far. This was our 8th trip over, and it’s by far the best experience we’ve had. We landed 56 fish in total, which made it even more memorable.
The bailiffs were excellent - very friendly, helpful, and full of knowledge about the lake. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, and without a doubt some of the best-looking fish we’ve seen.
We’ll definitely be returning. An amazing place all round.
