Brocard Large

Carp Fishing in a Natural French Setting

Brocard Large Facilities

Facilities
Because of the remote location of the lake, the facilities here are simple and use off-grid solutions.

On the site there's a small cabin with a table and chairs and this is where you'll meet Franck the bailiff at the start of your week. He will run through the rules and also update you on how the lake has been fishing.

There is also a second basic cabin which houses the following facilities:
- Shower (hot water is on 24/7)
- Toilets
- Charging points for phones, batteries etc. Please remember to bring your adaptors

Things that are not included:
- No fridge/freezer, please bring your own coolers or small gas camping fridges if you wish
- Toilet roll is not provided, please bring your own
- Bottled drinking water: there is no mains water supply and therefore large tankers of freshwater are delivered and stored for use. Although the water is clean and perfectly safe for showering etc, we advise you to bring your own drinking water

These facilities are based between the two Brocard lakes (you can see by zooming out slightly on the lake map). It is worth noting that it can be quite a walk if you have chosen the furthest swims, you're welcome to bring a bike to make things quicker!

Equipment to Hire
Unhooking mats €15 per week
Bait boat €150 per week
Bait boat with echo sounder €200 per week

Guiding Service
A guiding service is available to help new or inexperienced anglers coming to our waters. This will be 10 hours helping you locate feeding fish or finding spots, rigs, bait and fish care for big fish and hopefully how to get the best picture to take home with you. Price for this is €50 for one or €80 for two. Parties will get a discount.

To reserve equipment for hire or pre-book the guiding service please contact the bailiff direct. The bailiff's email address & phone number can be found on the directions sheet which will be made available to you in your Customer Area on our website when your holiday has been paid for in full.
