between our group of 4 we had 71 fish.
2 x cats at 82lb and 41lb, (we were smashed up by other very big cats too)
4 x 30's to around 38lb, 53 x 20's and 13 teens

Most came from the central channel in the lake and some off the far margins.

yes, They are at Cailleaux lake just down the road.

Yes, many new PB's for some of the lads.

General Comments:

Owners were really nice chaps and left us alone for the most part. Had a good week plenty of action and banter.

Great experience, absolutely would return

90 to 100 fish out. about 200 lost!
particle worked well and we used many assorted shelf-life boilies. all worked ok
munch baits coco cola tiger nuts went really well !

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We had to fish it from one side. Over to far side and the snags, which need a clear out. I'd say a bait-boat is a necessity as you have to be really close to the snags and its around 150m across.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Showers were too hot. thermostat turned down now.
no light in toilet next to the lake. head torch needed.

David, Cyril etc really nice chaps all good , left us alone for the most part .

happy. basic but adequate.

Yes. But snags do need clearing. Use of a bait boat more of a necessity IMO . We will be booking Cailleaux next year then perhaps may come back to Autels after that if snags cleared.

Very quiet and pretty, not bothered by anyone.

General Comments:

Shower too hot.
We did not know without a bait boat we could not reach bank on other side of lake which is where the fish are.
The lake is in a great location and generally we all had a busy week with all our swim's catching.
