The Baits they supplied us, Krill Carpology Baits worked wonders, one of our lads used Chorizo and had a good few runs, all on Heli set ups due to the silt

Were the facilities what you expected?

These are the only bad thing we had to say about the lake, we shared facilities with another lake and couldn't get anything in the fridges, had to leave things to charge 1km from our lake, my biggest advice would be to use the car park area for Autels to put a shower and charging area with a fridge/freezer in, saying that the showers down there were good enough.

Great Holiday, left alone most of the time by the owners, not far to travel for shops etc.

Was ok showers never got hot one day and struggled charging stuff as not many plugs and your sharing with the other lake

General Comments:

None of the snags was removed, was reeling in massive branches daily, lost countless fish to unnecessary snags, holes in the fence to the out of bounds which made us lose fish too. The lake owner couldn't tell us much about the lake just said he didn't know.
*Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback. We have spoken with the owner again about the snags and the holes in the fence, and he assured us that he removed a lot of snags back in February. He plans to inspect the fence again once the water is warm enough for him to do so.

Details of your catches:

17 carp over double figures with the biggest weighing 35lb this included 3 big grass carp
3 catfish landed, the biggest weighing 76lb
A number of smaller carp also landed.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Due to the very heavy silt helicopter rigs were used by everyone
Balanced hookbaits, wafters and slow sinking fake maize produced the bites

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities were basic as expected but the showers were hot and powerful.

Were you happy with them?

The shower building is a bit shabby but served their purpose

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

The fence that separates the lake from the "nature reserve" is in need of repair.
There is a large number of big fish in there despite the fence being there to prevent that.
There is a large number of fallen trees and snags that need removing, trailing lines in the water connected to snags and trees which resulted in a few lost fish.
The lake image shows two pegs on the far bank but in reality there is only one.
*Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback, we have discussed the snags and separation fence with the owner. He informs us that snags will be cut back over the closed winter season which should make things easier. He has also lowered the water level to look at the separation fence – the fence is in good condition, and whilst he does keep a few fish on the other side of the fence, it is very few.
