68 fish, biggest carp 48lb common and 90lb+ catfish

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Snowman and bottom bait rigs, fishing to far side snags and tree line/margins. Baiting with particles and boilies. Beef up your end tackle and leaders as there are a few snags and trailing lines. One catfish caught had 7 rigs still in its mouth from snap offs (removed and treated and returned). Take plenty of spares.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Basic toilet onsite, shower and an electric a short drive away. Shower was perfect, hot and good pressure. Take a barrow as you park in car park opposite lake and walk to swim, no vehicle access.

Owners very helpful and come around at least once a day. Particles mix good quality and a good, fair price.
