Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Tiger nut topped with corn

Yes

Yes
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Yes
General Comments:
I would recommend fishing directly onto the clear areas from the bank, there is a lot of weed around the island which can be tricky for indication and getting the fish back safely.

General Comments:
Don’t think there are 250 plus carp in the lake as stated, same fish caught twice
*Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback. We can confirm that, other than the usual natural deaths, no event has happened to cause the stocks to be lower.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Heavy baiting with boilie and particle mixes dropped from a bait boat as spodding in previous years wasnt as effective.
Fishing the deeper channel going round the perimeter of the lake circa 8ft of water seems to hold the majority of the stock and did 90% of the bites.
Boilie produces most the carp and cats and tigernut hookbaits seem to attract the grass carp more.
Fish dart straight for the weed beds and trying to pull them out was tricky and resulted in losing a few, so opted to go out in the provided boat onsite and get above them to land them safely, easy the best option.
Heavy leads and sharp hooks are a MUST, their mouths are like bone and very very tough, big leads and hooks and dropping leads makes it easier to get them up in the water column to land them over the deeper submerged thick weed beds during the hot weather.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes as always, shower was nice and hot, we ran out of water but one phone call and a couple of hours and Sophie arranged another water tank to be dropped off.
Freezer for bait is smaller than previous years but enough to hold about 100kg of bait roughly.
3 big fridges for all your food and drinks and little oven/air fryer pizza oven was a nice tough for quick easy meals.
Were you happy with them?
Yes clean and simple and plenty for a small group to be comfy.
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes been 3 times now easy drive, good stock not a runs water but not the most difficult, just find them and give them bait they will come 100%.
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Always, angling lines have been spot on, this was our 4th or 5th time now cant remember and always been absolutely brilliant and cant thanks the ladies enough, absolutely brilliant.
General Comments:
Massive thanks again had an eventful few days leading up to the trip with van issues and car issues etc and even water levels dropping and angling lines were nothing short of amazing to help straight out!
