Facilities were acceptable, hot shower no hot water in kitchen. Needs updating.

Pascal was very nice did not give any advice only about the swans. Cats were a problem

No purely from the catch rate worst week in all our trips.

Angling lines yes would definitely book through you again.

General Comments:

Would be a good venue work needs doing steps to facilities hazardous covered in grass.
We were unfortunate with the lake level being so high.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

During a very tough week weather wise, with strong NE winds, temps around 8 degrees and relentless rain the fish completely shut down until the last couple of days when it calmed down. We then started to catch steadily on most baits presented in deeper water.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Perfect for what we required. Hot shower, plenty of power points and useful fridges and freezer.

Were you happy with them?

Very happy.

We have re booked for next year so we certainly would, lovely lake. Sophie is a lovely host.

Angling Lines were very open and offered us the chance to cancel with low water levels but we didn't want to miss out. Easy to book, great communication throughout. Thoroughly recommend Angling Lines.

General Comments:

A tough week that at times made us struggle for motivation due to relentless rain. Can't wait to come back in july when we can test ourselves against these impressive fish.

The current lake record is not at 73lb, we caught it at 67lb

General Comments:

The lake water levels were at a record low and I believe the owners cancelled 2 other fisherman the week we were there. We really struggled fishing wise and we believe the water levels were a big factor. I wish we had been given the choice to fish there or not as we did not catch as we expected. I agree nature plays a part and you are not guaranteed fish but we are experienced anglers and all of our tactics only produced 6 fish. A little disappointed that's all.
