Scattered boilies spread out and simple rigs cast about, just simple, no boat work as seemed to spook fish. Cast around all areas with singles worked best. The bait Mark supplied worked well (sweet)

Mark the bailiff was great, I went with my 2 lads who are 8 and 9 and we only fished 5 nights as pulled off to look around local area, so did not fish that hard but had some great carp and lads loved the roach fishing, great trip. Thanks

Find deeper water if possible or fish to the lily pads, try and spread your bait by using boat provided, they seem to spook off bait boat drops, most runs came at night as weather was so hot during the day

Great place for a relaxing week, but not a runs water, you have to work for your fish

Used angling lines on numerous occasions, never disappointed with service or the venues they provide

Very disappointed no fish caught by the four of us as fish were spawning. Evidence of this marker sticks covered in eggs.

General Comments:

The water level was about 18" lower than water its highest level making the average depth 2ft 6" with 3ft in the channel of the stream bed and a couple of spots by the dam wall of 4ft. The silt is quiet deep in places to 18" but an average of 6-8" so feeling for a drop is almost impossible so don't be afraid of fishing the silt but use longer hook links. Very pleased with everything and have booked to go back next year
