General Comments:

The owners are really friendly and kind
The place is very quiet and very relaxing
The fish are beautiful
The only issue was the shower which is either boiling hot or freezing cold!!
Having bbq's was great
We all had the best time and would definitely come back again...Thank you to the owners

Details of your catches:

Me and my grandson had 11 takes and landed 8 biggest going 34.9lb, weather made the fishing hard with the temp going up to 38c.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

3 takes came to 1 can of corn in the bait boat over a Ronnie rig with ESP double pop up corn. The rest of the takes came to a mix of micro pellet in a pva mesh bag slid down the rig with the hook pulled in to the bag with either double 18mm Mainline HARD bottom baits or snowman rig with hard bottom bait with Korda super wrapped pop ups.
Crayfish was active, as learned early in when you reel in with your pop up gone or tiny piece left. Some spots were more active with the crays than others.
Fish came from margins with one coming from the centre of the lake, only used the rowing boat once as it spooked the fish, didn’t see any fish jump for the rest of the day after we used it and they bosh quite often in the day and all night.
All fish came just after dark up till 11:30am, big boulders in some places so get a good snag leader and the fish could quite easily take you round the island , take your waders if you want to stalk them behind the island very shallow so need to wade out to land them. The peg outside the cabin is quite a drop to the water so was grateful I had my bait boat dropper save your knees lol.

Were the facilities what you expected?

The wife slept in the cabin and me and the grandson slept in the bivvy. All bedrooms was clean and beds were comfy. Kitchen living room was clean with everything you would need.
The TV had every channel that you could want, not that we watched it with the weather being nice we sat under the massive canopy which was so cool out the sun. The STARLINK wifi was amazing. Bathroom was clean.
Cabin was very modern looking credit to owners. BBQ was brilliant we used it everyday.

Were you happy with them?

The lads were very welcoming friendly and helpful bit of translating on the phone. Very happy, will defo return in the future, perfect for families. We were all amazed with the different noises we heard coming from the forest and some spooky noises on the night lol

Couldn’t fault the place, really stunning lake cabin and surroundings, only thing I could have wished for is a bigger freezer.

About 8 caught. The biggest was 38lb 9oz. Plus 2 x 20’s

Straight forward running lead with a 20mm krill flavoured boilie. Plus a couple of handfuls of the owner’s pellets.
A very hot week. Most of the action was in the early hours. Although the 38lber came out in the hottest part of the day

Lovely venue. Helpful French owners. With temperatures over 30c every day I thought the venue fished well considering.
