Evaro Fish

Evaro's original fish stock, as the fish gallery shows, have beautiful scale patterns with stunning colouration. In the winter of 2020 the Bacheliers added an additional stock of carp, at least two of these were over 60lb and a further six were over 50lb.

Since 2021, the stock level has continued to grow, with 60 carp added in winter 2021, 31 in winter 2022, and 30 more in February 2025.

This takes us to an estimated stock of around 310 carp with an average weight of mid to high thirties and the biggest is now over 84lb. We certainly wouldn't describe Evaro as a runs water, but the quality of the fish is superb.

There are no catfish or sturgeon present in the lake.

We're confident that Evaro has some of the best big carp fishing France has to offer.
