General Comments:

All round very good. Very relaxed, friendly etc.

3 fish- 28lb Mirror, 26lb Mirror, 22lb 8oz Mirror (Nemo). 60+ fish- Rudd, Tench, small Mirrors, Commons and Grass Carp. (Weather cold and wet, spawning imminent so fishing hard).

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Patience! Fish to margins (Gorse bank) using boilie baits and loose feed pellets (small amount). Small fish all caught on sweet corn and hookable pellets- great fun.

Better than expected, plenty of room, clean, tidy and warm. Beds comfortable and shower great!

General Comments:

Tracy and Lee were perfect hosts. Lee was always there for guidance and advice on how to fish the lake- thanks Lee. Tracy you’re cooking is ace! The food was brilliant. A good variety of delicious meals- liked guessing what was for pudding. (Big) breakfasts were great- compliments to the cook, Keep it up. Thank you for allowing us to use your home and making us feel extremely welcome:- hope to see you again, from Debbie, Pete, Allan and Pauline.

5 Carp to 30lb 10oz, plus 1 Catfish at 36lbs 1oz and a couple of small Grassies to around 8lb. Struggled as fish were spawning.

Couldn’t ask for better hospitality, the lake is beautiful + peaceful. The food was beautiful too.
