Grandes Cimes Facilities
The facilities here are very basic, a classic 'drive and survive' fishing week.
On-site, you’ll find a simple cabin equipped with a shower, washbasin and toilet. This cabin's lights and hot water is powered by eco-friendly solar panels. There is no fridge or freezer here, so we recommend taking your own cooler, gas camping fridge or similar.
Please note that there is no mains electricity for charging your items. Since your vehicle will be parked at your swim, we recommend using it to charge smaller items such as phones.
For larger power needs, like charging big batteries, we suggest bringing a leisure battery and/or portable power packs to ensure you’re fully equipped. The bailiff is also happy to collect batteries or items to charge and return to you the next day if needed.
Drinking water is not available on-site, but bottled water can be easily purchased from nearby shops.
Phone signal and 3G/4G coverage is good, though this may vary depending on your provider. Please be aware that there is no WiFi available on-site.
From the end of November until the beginning of March there is no running water in the facilities due to freezing conditions (although the toilet can still be flushed using a bucket of water). Solar power remains unaffected.
