Le Repaire Facilities

Since a change to the facilities in the winter of 2025, Le Repaire has very simplified facilities on site.

The Lakeside Cabin

Situated just behind the main swim, the open plan wooden cabin provides a simple kitchen space and dining table. A large covered outdoor terrace equipped with a charcoal BBQ ensures you can comfortably stay close to your rods come rain or shine.

Inside you'll find:

- Table & four chairs
- Kitchenette with a double gas hob, pots, pans, plates and cutlery
- Charging points for small electrical items - electricity is provided by solar power only which charges a battery. Larger batteries that require charging can be taken by the bailiff on their visits every other day and returned to you charged

There is then a dry toilet located separately close to the lake entrance. Showers and water top-ups are off-site.

Water supply (off site)

Historically, the tap water at the lake was never suitable for drinking, and anglers have always been required to bring their own drinking water. This remains unchanged. What has changed since the winter of 2025 is that there will now be no lakeside tap for general-use water (washing dishes, cleaning, etc.). Anglers will therefore need to bring a suitable container to hold non-drinking water for lakeside use.

Water can be refilled for free at a water point in the village, 3.1km from the lake (a 5 minute drive - see google maps here).

Showers (off site)

Customers are able to take showers at Au Bon Accueil, located 4.6 km from the lake (a 7 minute drive - see google maps here):

Customers may use the shower facilities at the venue, which is open Monday-Friday.
The cost is €2 per shower.
The venue/cafe requires one purchase (for example a drink) when using the facilities.
