The Lakeside Cabin

Situated just behind the main swim, the cosy wooden cabin offers a simple and inviting base to relax, cook and fish from. It provides all the essentials, helping to lighten your packing load. A large covered outdoor terrace equipped with a charcoal BBQ ensures you can comfortably stay close to your rods come rain or shine. Please note that charcoal is not supplied, please bring your own.

The cabin is open-plan, except for the separate toilet and shower room.

Inside you'll find:

- Table & four chairs
- Kitchenette with a double gas hob, Italian coffee maker, pots, pans, plates and cutlery
- Small fridge with a freezer compartment
- One double bed and two single beds that can be stacked during the day to create a sofa
- Toilet and shower room
- Charging points for small electrical items

Additional Important Notes

- The cabin sleeps up to 4 people, though please be advised that the space would be tight if doing so due to the size of the cabin and open-plan layout - it does better suit 2.

- It is important to understand that the electricity is provided by solar power only. Therefore you must avoid using high-power electrical equipment, such as electric heaters and air fryers, which could overload the system and cause a power outage.

- The cabin does not have any form of heating. We recommend bringing extra blankets or warm layers during the colder months.

- Please note that bed linen, duvets, pillows, and towels of any kind are not provided, guests are kindly asked to bring their own.

- The tap water is not drinking water, but bottled water can be easily purchased from nearby shops.

Winter Facilities

From the end of November until the beginning of March, facilities here are much more limited - there is no running water due to freezing conditions (although the toilet can still be flushed using a bucket of water). Solar power remains unaffected, other than the more limited daylight hours.
