Yes

The water was a bit smelly due to it coming from a tank. The filters were changed for us and everything was fine.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

No. Bigger fish were hard to come by.

Yes

General Comments:

Fish were held up in the snags on the other end of the lake which wernt reachable from the cabin swim. Water was very low but to be expected. Access to the boat should be included in the price.

Caught plenty of carp, most around 20lb mark. Good mix of common, mirror and grass.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We fished the single swim during the day and the main swim at night. Local bait was good quality particularly the particle.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities were basic. Beds comfy enough both the double and the single.

Were you happy with them?

Small things could be improved. No kettle (perhaps due to power). If so, kettle for stove would’ve been useful. No BBQ utensils. Fridge was good

General Comments:

With some small improvements in liveability, Le Repaire would be a cracking spot. Supermarket close by and easy connection to local tackle shop.

Simple knotless knot hair rigs with blowout rings and glugged trigger boilies topped with pink corn

General Comments:

Good week away, fish average around mid 20s. A lot of snags around the margins, many crayfish and bream. The island separates the lake and we found the back end more productive than the cabin end. Crayfish a real nightmare.
