Details of your catches:
Only two fish caught, 34lb mirror, and 41lb mirror. Both fish were caught from peg 9. 6 bream to 9lb mainly to CC Moore Live System. The fish seemed to be at the left hand side of the lake (shower end). Three days of frost may have kept the fish in the deeper water. Fishing was hard, all manner of tatics were tried to no avail. That’s fishing.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
The smaller fish fell to royal marine bottom bait from Baitworks over a bed of particle. The larger fish fell to CC Moore Live system over bed of boliles / hemp.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes, been here once before. Showers were clean tidy, as was the toilet. Could possibly do with one more though. Plenty of freezer / fridge space for bait / food.
Were you happy with them?
Yes, knew what to expect.
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes, it’s big water, but worth the challenge.
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Yes I always use Angling Lines, great service and always happy to help.

Details of your catches:
30 + fish. 1 x 58lb 2 x 40's multiple 20's & 30's
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Small beds of bait, fishing accurately at range, small yellow popups accounted for most of the runs.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes, shower and toilets were fine. Could do with more than 1 x toilet for the lake though...
Were you happy with them?
Yes, warm showers is always a bonus. Good fridge, freezer and charging facilities
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes, but with caution. It has become very 'natural' / overgrown particularly in the margins, with many overgrown trees, underwater snags, sharp bars etc. Which is not the best for fish safety. There were multiple lines / leads / rigs in the snags around peg 6 and 11. People will just fish right up to the snags and lose fish, which is bad all round. Evident from the amount of rigs found.
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Yes for Angling lines, with caution for Lapinet.
General Comments:
A good week made tougher by the weather. The fish seem to hold up in the margins which are very very tough to fish, and anglers were regularly losing fish in the snags (we spoke to other anglers) which is bad for everyone (fish included) It's a great venue but can't help but feel it could be made a safer venue for the fish.

General Comments:
Went to lepinet north due to my first choice being cancelled. I’ve fished south but first time on north side. It’s a longer range to find the head of fish but still a Great Lake either side, action was plenty but for me I only managed up to 36lb. But on the north side my week a 57, 48, couple 40s came out. Plus the big sturgeon 3 times. But for me in particular this week was one of my best on a bank in France meeting great people. 2 lads Mark & Joe from Liverpool and farther and son from Carlisle great company all got on well. It was a great week. Cheers boys!
