The Carp House Facilities

Newly installed in 2024, the lakeside lodge offers modern accommodation right at the water's edge. Compact yet thoughtfully designed, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is second to none - just a few metres back from the main swim, you have easy access to your rods at all times. You can also sleep within the accommodation with your rods out if you wish.

The Terrace

The large, covered terrace is undoubtedly where you will spend most of your time, offering a panoramic view of the lake in front of you. Equipped with a BBQ, sun loungers and a dining table, it’s the perfect spot to socialise and enjoy meals together.

The Lodge

The accommodation includes:

Open plan living area with kitchen, sofa bench and dining table (seating 4)
Gas hob for cooking, microwave, coffee machine, fridge freezer, pots/pans, plates, cutlery and glasses etc
Small TV
3 compact bedrooms (two twin, one double)
Shower room and sink
Separate toilet

Duvets and pillows are provided for the beds, but you will need to bring your own bed sheets, towels and tea towels.

Please note that the water, whilst treated, is not drinkable, so guests typically purchase bottled water from a nearby supermarket. The water is only used for showers, washing-up and toilets.

Power Supply

Due to the secluded location of the lake, the lodge utilises off-grid solutions and so guests are asked to be mindful of this. However, every effort has been made to ensure that solar and gas systems provide ample energy for all your needs, from lighting to charging devices.

The Hosts

French owners Jonathan and Francois do not live on site, so you have the place to yourselves, but they are on call for any questions you may have and will pop round to see you.
