Vincons ticks all the boxes - one of the best family carp fishing venues in France, and a prolific runs water that regularly produces 100+ fish weeks.
Booked exclusively for your group of up to 6 people, this stunning 12-acre spring-fed lake has an energy to it that's hard to match. It's the sheer volume of action that defines Vincons - a water where even the least experienced angler in the group shouldn't be waiting long.
The lakeside lodge is included in your booking, with a well-equipped open-plan kitchen, living area and two single beds. A separate annex (optional) adds two further bedrooms - a double and a twin - along with the toilet and shower facilities. You can fish straight from the lodge door, keeping you close to the action at all times.
For families and non-anglers, the swimming pool gives everyone their own reason to love the week, making Vincons as much a family holiday as a fishing trip.
With a full week at your disposal there's plenty of time to fish hard, take a break, and soak up the atmosphere of rural French life in one of the most beautiful corners of the Cher, central France.
You'll be warmly welcomed by Alice and the Bouchot family - fourth-generation farmers who breed wild boar and grow cereal on the land surrounding the lake, giving Vincons a warmth and authenticity that sets it apart from a purely commercial fishery. Around 4h 30m from Caen and 5h 30m from Calais.

"Our lake sits at the heart of a family farm, and we’re proud to be the fourth generation of farmers. It was my grandfather Louis who had the lake dug in 1960 - he loved nature, hunting, and fishing! Today, the farm thrives thanks to our diverse activities: producing edible oils, breeding wild boar, growing aromatic plants, and welcoming British carp anglers. We’ve loved meeting new people over the years and hope you enjoy your stay on our farm. We live on site but not overlooking the lake - we’re always available if needed, while giving you the freedom to fully enjoy your vacation. We look forward to welcoming you soon!"
