We had 35 fish between us. Ranging from 10lbs to 48.5lbs. Great weeks fishing everyone had a 30+lbs fish.

Medhi was an excellent host and the fishing was excellent and the fish were all great condition and beautiful.

I fished swim 5 and had 20 fish, great sport, biggest 38lb, 2x 31lb and a 28lb, the rest around 15-20 lb, great host such a brilliant guy, would definitely return in future, cabin lovely, everything you need for a fishing holiday, 5 star keep it up mate 👍

General Comments:

Great Lake great host !!

Details of your catches:

Between us we caught around 30plus fish up to 16lb
A few 30lb + fish up to 38lb
40lb grassie, 42lb common and 42lb mirror and a 45lb mirror for carl which was a pb.
47lb mirror, 48lb mirror, 52lb mirror pb for my son
A new pb for myself 62lb mirror biggest mirror in old oaks and another pb for carl the long common which was 73lb.
Both big catches peg5 peg 2 same day within an hour apart.

Medhi and his wife were perfect hosts as always, very helpful, we had lots of laughs this week when talking to Mehdi

1 x 37lb carp and a few 3-4lb catches in the whole group

I tried all tactics that I could, fish were not feeding due to the extreme heat. I had a couple of runs that came to nothing

Facilities are good, toilet, shower, electric, fridge freezer all clean and looked after

General Comments:

In all my trips to France, I would say that Laroussi and Old Oaks have been the most comfortable and enjoyable trips I have been to due to the host Medhi and his family. They are very helpful and hospitable, and make you feel very welcome and helpful. I will book Old Oaks again in different weather conditions
