Details of your catches:
6 carp between 2 anglers
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Margin was very good and pink popup or pink/orange wafter were the best. Spinner rigs and multi combis. Pellet and boilies are very good and making mixes with goo is also the same. Dry/ wet are both good mixes.

General Comments:
I love this place, as it says its a natural, wild setting.
By no means is it a runs water you have to put in the work finding spots in the margins fishing under the bushes in the margins.
I caught all but 1 fish on 12mm monster crab pop up over a bed of sweetcorn using a size 6 Ronnie rig on a 5 inch boom section with a safety inline lead setup.
I lost 5 in the snags to start with but after readjusting the way I was fishing I managed to land 5 with the big common at 71 lbs being the highlight.
All fish were hard fighting fish with no damage to the mouth and plenty of character to them, the 41 I had looked like an old warrior.
I caught the 71 on a 15mm slk pop up attached to 2 pva mesh bags of pellets, a mix of 9mm coppens and dna pellets, because the water is so deep, pva mesh is the best way to get the pellets down near your hook bait.
I love the scanning of the carp too so they can track the growth of the carp, really good idea.
Kenny the owner and Clement the bailiff are great guys and are a fountain of knowledge.
As always Angling Lines have been spot on sorting the trip and making adjustments to ferries when requested, thank you.
