Details of your catches:

24 Carp
1 x 58lb
5 x 40’s (1 grass)
4 x 30’s
8 x 20’s
6 x double figures
(32 runs)

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Spinner rig was most popular presentation with combi rig and heli safe rigs, using 14 mm pop ups and snowman set ups. We found fish meal baits and pro stim liver were best and lots of pellets/chops loose feed and PVA bags on hook for maximum attraction.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Perfect drive and survive

Were you happy with them?

Absolutely and very clean

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Absolutely and thank you Angling Lines you have exceeded all our expectations, what a great lake. We fished swim 3/4, 60% of fish from open water and 40% margins. Be careful of snags and lead where you fish! We will return 👊

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Absolutely

General Comments:

The venue is very tidy and well maintained. Clement the bailiff is very helpful and owner is very friendly and helpful. The lake is not a runs water and you have to work for your fish. Really nice condition fish and hard fighting

Details of your catches:

Very good week with over 50 fish being caught. Best were 64.8 common, 48.11 mirror, 48.12 grass, 47.13 mirror, 42.13 mirror, 10 over 30lbs & 27 over 20lbs.
Very hot all week, nearly 40c some days. 90% of fish came out at night/early hrs. Snags need sorting really, there are loads of dead branches that could do with moving.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Big bed of boilies in open water, most of fish came from big bottom baits, nothing bright & obvious.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes

Were you happy with them?

Yes, but if I was being really picky I’d say a bigger or another freezer would be ideal.

General Comments:

Nice lake with extra nice fish, swim 3 was unfishable due to the heat & no shade, but swim 2 is easily big enough for 4 anglers. If you could leave your vehicle behind swims (there’s plenty of room), as it’s quite a walk to the facilities, especially from swim 4. But these are just small issues. All in all we had a great weeks fishing. Clément came over every day to make sure everything was going well, really nice guy as well.

Details of your catches:

25 carp caught up to 48lb. 1 grass carp and 6 bream.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Yellow pop ups on Ronnie rigs over boilies and house pellet. Most of the fish came from open water at night as daytime temperatures were up in the 40s.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes facilities were great. Shower and kitchen area was great with a decent size fridge and freezer. Also there is a small tackle shop on site incase you've forgotten anything.

Were you happy with them?

Yes.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Definitely. A well set up lake with lots of features and some great set up swims with plenty of space.

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

General Comments:

Really enjoyed our trip. The lake was perfect with good size swims and loads of water to fish to in each swim. We had a tough week with the weather being so hot but managed some nice fish out. The owner was very friendly and bailiff was helpful with advice and came round to see us to check in at least every other day.

Details of your catches:

40lb common
39lb mirror x2
37lb mirror x2
34lb mirror x1
32lb mirror x2
8 fish under 30lb

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We found fishing into the snags with orange and red pop ups on ronnies did well. Definitely use the house pellet in 8m there are lots of roach ect in the lake. Feeding on the pellet seemed to grab the carps attention, we used krill active boilies that worked well, we also caught in the deeper water in open water.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities where everything you would expect from a drive and survive package, the compost toilets where clean and tidy behind the swims

Were you happy with them?

We were luck enough to have the lake to ourselves, so didn't have to share the freezer and fridge which where a bit on the small size for the number of anglers expected to share them.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes.

Fantastic as usual from Angling Lines

General Comments:

Emeraude is a fantastic lake for the experienced angler, you have to work for your catches but very rewarding. I fished peg 3 and my mate peg 4, I did think that peg 3 was more of a one man swim, would not have liked to share the water with another angler. I did move on the Wednesday into peg 2 that controls a lot of water for 2 anglers, was able to move after the anglers that where booked on didn't turn up. We used the boats that were provided but hired the electric motors which where great for rig placement and baiting up
