Bears Lake Rules

Arrival: Not before 2pm please
Departure: No later than 10am

Security deposit: We require a security deposit of £300 at the start of the week, which will be returned to you at the end of the week providing no damages or breakages have occurred.

Rules:

• No unattended rods, all fishing lines are to be reeled in when rods are not attended

• 3 rod limit

• Minimum of 15lb Line NO Braided mainlines

• Micro Barb Hooks only NO bent hooks, a maximum of 1 hook per rod or rig

• No fixed leads (all leads must be able to fall free in the event of breakoffs)

• No shelf-life bait and no uncooked nuts

• All anglers must have a minimum 42" net. Nets must be dipped before use on the lake

• Please note mats and slings are provided at the venue. All fish to be weighed using mats provided

• No sacking of fish

• No standing when posing with fish for photographs

• Antiseptic Gel must be used to treat the mouths of all fish after every catch

• Bait boats allowed. Rowing boats are not allowed.

• No swimming

• Drug and alcohol abuse will not be tolerated, this will lead to an instant ban and no refund of monies paid

• Please keeps swims and facilities clean and tidy, no littering (including cigarette butts)

• No fires

• Please do not damage the lakeside trees or vegetation

• Dogs are allowed by prior arrangement, please let us know at time of booking

• We reserve the right to change or amend the rules without prior notice

• Any infringement of the rules will result in the termination of your holiday without refund

• We accept no responsibility for accident or injury unless it is a result of our direct action. Please ensure you have health and accident insurance

• Children (under the age of 18 years) must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times

• Charging sockets are French, please remember to bring your own adaptors

If you or a member of your party experiences any issues during your holiday, please report them immediately to the venue owner/bailiff and to Angling Lines. This allows us the opportunity to resolve the matter while you are still at the lake, in line with our holiday Terms & Conditions.
