Details of your catches:

We caught 49 mirror carp 4 forties up to 45lb 12oz, 19 thirties, 26 twenty's 2 commons to 20lb 8oz, 6 grass carp to 34lb 8oz and 9 cats to 62 15oz which we believe to be a new lake record.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We caught carp on 5 different types of boilies, the cats generally came out on pellet or large fishy boilies, best tactics seemed to be single hook baits or snow man rig with just a hand full of freebies scattered around.

General Comments:

This was our 3rd visit to Beaurepaire the lake is different each time we've fished it, the water level is constantly changing and you can never tell were the fish are going to be, so each visit is a new challenge. The owner Bernard is a real nice guy and he leaves you alone.

Details of your catches:

1500lbs of carp in the week. Biggest 53.08 Cats to 33.08 . The smallest carp was a beautiful 14lbs Koi. The other lads haul included a 45lber and a 42lber as well. Plenty of 30's.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

I used only 1/2 kilo of boilies in the week as I only used them as hook baits over some pellet. I had 14 carp biggest 53.08 fishing to the treeline in the bay opposite the facilities on the other side of the spit which was still underwater. I used Rajah spice boilies from Quest baits. I had the most carp but others also did well and some used cell and bait boats.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes

Were you happy with them?

Yes, loved it

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Yes, definitely. spot on.

General Comments:

A really pretty little lake, really pleased with the whole thing and not far from the port. Electrics went once but we found the reset button on the back of the portacabin and it all came right.
