We had 100 fish in total, including 1 x 40lb+, 8 x 30lb+, 62 x 20lb+, 19 upper doubles, 10 x catfish. A good week's fishing!!

Maize, sweetcorn, boilies all work well, you do have to work at this venue to get the fish going!! Plenty of particles.

The hospitality of the owner was great, nice bloke, nice place, good fishing!

121 fish, 90 carp: 1 x 41lb, 3 x 30lb+, 41 x 20lb, the rest doubles. 23 cats to 41.12lb. 8 x grass carp to 24lb.

Every tactic worked, Rahja Spice boilies, tiger nut tipped with caron over partiblend, popped up corn over partiblend, large halibut pellets over smaller pellets.

General Comments:

For all those who suggest this is not a runs water you are wrong. The days were hectic & we bought our rods in at night for some much needed rest!! Lots of fun & a very enjoyable week.

we had 12 x 30s to 37lb 9oz, 24 x 20s to 29lb around 30 doubles smallest being 14lb. 12 x catfish to 40.5lb and bream to 10lb.

tiger nut tipped with maize,the cell and crab and cray boilies from a company called bm baits maize works well but single pieces pick up bream

General Comments:

the owner and his daughter went out of their way to help us out,mr cousin even brought down his camper van with satelite tv in so we could watch the world cup final but could not get a signal but the man is a true gentleman,i would recommend this lake to anyone going fishing for their first france trip, well worth a go

Details of your catches:

My son & I had an action packed week,catching 58 fish in total.This included carp of 39lb, 38lb,35lb and many others between 25lb - 35lb. We also had 6 catfish the biggest being 33lb and a grass carp of 18lb. A great week made all the more special due to hospitality of the owner who could not have made us more welcome. Would recommend this venue to anyone and it will definately not be the last time we go .

Smaller baits i.e Sweetcorn & maize but may have to put up with the bream.
