Yes angling lines have been verry good to us on past hoildays but miss sold this lake to us
General Comments:
To much weed to many cray fish and passion cat plus a family of swans clearing out our baited spots
**Angling Lines note** There has been no presence of Poisson Chat before this year on the venue and this feedback is the first time we have had a complaint regarding this. We're of the understanding that the chat have come through this year due to a fault with the sluice that connects Brocard Small to Brocard Large, allowing them to pass through. A full netting is taking place in November this year to remove them and so they should cause no issue for 2015. We have spoken to Kirk and resolved this complaint.

General Comments:
A really tricky week with the weather conditions. The weed was a little bit problematic, but nothing a rake and some waders couldn't sort out. The weed breaks really easily in your hands and I would recommend wading out to your spots.
I think Brocard Large is a lake which benefits from repeat visits to really crack it. The Dutch anglers over the other side of the lake were regular visitors and really nailed it despite the weather conditions. The lake itself is absolutely stunning, swims 9 and 10 offer plenty of shade from the sun and both swims were easily able to swallow up two Titan 2-man bivvies with room between.
The main point to Brocard Large is the fantastic number of large Carp to fish for in a beautiful setting. Brocard Large gave me such a good vibe I booked up for the following year a few days after getting home, it really is a special lake.
Franck the bailiff is a top top guy, don't be afraid to ask him for advice as he's one of the nicest people you're likely to meet.

General Comments:
In comparison with the last few years, the catfish population seems to have grown, this causes trouble. We did lose a few catfish which damaged the material. It's possible that the damaged material was caused by a combination of the weed and catfish.
Franck the bailiff is a good guy, helps you out and gives you tips.
