Details of your catches:
A few fish lost to big snags in the margins. Nigel 5 fish 2 x 40s, Michael 4 fish 3x20 and 1 x 30, Jack 1 fish x 20, Arron 1 fish x 20, Geoff and Phillip no bites.
peg numbers very confusing with no numbers on swims.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Website please add, leave boilies at home! Poisson chats just annihilate them in minutes, tiger nuts only bait that survived the night, plastic baits were also ok. We all spent hundreds of pounds on bait that was useless. Nobody allowed to move swims all fish seemed to be one end of the lake but we were told we could not move from allocated swim with no chance of stalking a fish
*Angling Lines comment* Unfortunately as the lake was fully booked it was not possible to move swims/ stalk the fish as this would be unfair to the other anglers fishing.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Shower was about a mile walk from swim 6 so it would be an idea to bring a bike or scooter for those that are without vehicle.
The shower and charging points were all solar powered and one morning it was dead and could not flush the toilet.
Were you happy with them?
Not ideal long walk, floor was dirty got out of shower and feet got muddy don't think anyone cleaned facilities whilst we were there. Charging point for bait boats etc always full.
*Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback. The facilities are cleaned every Saturday on change over day, a mop is provided for anglers to use during the week for after showering.
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Maybe
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Angling lines would get my recommendation
General Comments:
With very little notice due to flooding at Lepinet our group was split up which was not ideal but appreciate effort to save the trip.

Details of your catches:
Very poor. Probably only 10 between 3 of us.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
You can only use Tiger Nuts/ Plastic baits due to the plague like numbers of Poisson Chat and Crayfish. Also, casting is impossible (in places) due to the overgrown trees above the swims so you need a bait boat. Managed to put up with the place for 3 days before I left. It wouldn't be so bad if the place was looked after, but it simply isn't. I spent the first day cutting branches off trees so I could actually cast....
*Angling Lines comment* Our lake description does warn anglers that poisson chat and crayfish are present, but we have never received feedback before stating that they are in ''plague like numbers''. Perhaps you were unfortunate to have a lot in your swim whilst you were there. On our lake description on the venue page, we suggest that swims 5, 6, 7, 9 & 12 are easy casting areas whereas swims 7, 10 and 11 have some overhanging foliage which means you may find it more difficult to cast, in this case a bait boat would be advantageous. We note you had booked swim 10.
Were the facilities what you expected?
No. Shower and toilet are filthy, pegs falling apart, overgrown trees stopping you from physically casting. No excuse for not cleaning, not cutting trees.
*Angling Lines comment* Whilst we appreciate the facilities here are basic, we have received no other feedback this year stating dissatisfaction with them.
Were you happy with them?
Absolutely not. The facilities haven't changed (or been cleaned it seems........) since I was there 2 years ago. One disgusting toilet and one awful shower for >20 anglers. One of our party had his wife with him, and she refused to use the facilities they were that bad. There is simply no need for unclean facilities, overgrown trees,
