We had fish from 20lb+ to 59lb Most coming from peg 1, one fish was caught twice

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Were you happy with them?

Facilities worked for us, could do with an area for shade. We had high temps of 42 degrees and no area to really shade

General Comments:

No real negatives, overall an amazing venue, we found the river behind and as the level was low, we was able to get in to cool down

Details of your catches:

12 fish for our group

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Shallow areas did all the bites

Were the facilities what you expected?

The shower is absolutely rubbish, it’s either freezing cold or skin melting hot, can’t get a happy medium, it was exactly the same the previous year. Need a freezer on site for bait and food and an extra toilet up the other end of the lake would also be good *Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it. Regarding the shower, it is controlled by a mixer tap, we recommend starting with the hot water and then gradually adding cold to find the right temperature. We understand it can take a little adjusting to get it comfortable.

Were you happy with them?

Basic, not happy with shower *Bailiff's note* We’re sorry to hear you weren’t fully satisfied with the facilities. Please note that they were upgraded at the beginning of the year, including the addition of the washing-up area.

General Comments:

Ignore the 2pm meet time as when we arrived at 1 apologising for being early we told no you can come at 10. So this needs to be checked by Angling Lines. *Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback. We have checked the arrival times with bailiff Mark, who confirmed that the official arrival time remains at 12pm, as stated in the lake rules. If the lake is ready earlier, anglers may be allowed to start sooner at the bailiff’s discretion, but the 12pm time ensures there is enough time to tidy up the lake and facilities after the previous group has departed. We apologise for any confusion caused.
