Fullys Lake

Unique Big Carp Fishing in France

Fullys Lake Fish

When owner Constant took over management of the lake in 2019, he estimated around 250 fish already present - all stunning mirror and fully scaled carp, from singles to low 30s. It's this striking scaley stock that gave the lake its name: Fullys Lake.

Constant has since run a carefully managed annual stocking programme, building steadily toward the unique, big carp fishery it is today:

  • 2019: 90 carp added, from singles to a biggest of 55lb, alongside some grass carp and koi.
  • 2020: A further 92 carp, all between 10–50lb, with some koi too.
  • 2021: Another 88 carp β€” all handpicked fully scaled, linear, big mirrors or big commons.
  • Every year since has seen a select few more fish introduced.

Counting for natural losses over the years, we estimate approximately 565 fish now present.

Carp:

  • 40lb+ - around 50 fish, with some now over 80lb
  • 30lb+ - more than 100 fish
  • 20lb+ - most of the rest between 20-30lb, with just a few under

The current lake record common carp weighs just over 82lb.

Others:
There are approximately 65 different koi and ghost carp (the biggest now over 35lb), 62 grass carp from 20-50lb+, and one albino catfish in the mid-twenties. There are no sturgeon in the lake.
