Heart Lake Facilities
The newly renovated lodge offers very comfortable accommodation sleeping 4 people (or up to 6 if utilising the sofa-bed) and sits just 25 metres from the closest swim.
It contains two bedrooms (one double, one twin) and an open plan lounge diner with sofa (which can become a sofa-bed if required), kitchen, dining table and wood burning stove for those chillier months!
The kitchen is well equipped with fridge-freezer, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, crockery, dishwasher, gas hob and child's high chair. Please note there is no oven.
The shower and toilet are located in a separate building across the driveway, 20m from the main lodge.
The water supply is sourced from a nearby well, which is tested yearly and certified fit for consumption.
Outside you'll find a large terrace with BBQ & dining area. The childrens play area is located close to the terrace and particularly charming with a small sailing boat converted into a sand pit, which we're sure will be the stage for many a game of pirates!
Swim one is situated directly in front of the lodge, so for those physically able to be quick on their rods it is possible to fish from this swim whilst sleeping within the accommodation
Please note; towels and sheets are not provided so you're best bringing your own. However sheets can be rented if required for 12e per person, just contact the owners once booked.
Local area
Whilst the lake is nestled into the countryside, it is still conveniently located just a 9 minute drive (4 miles) from the local town of Les Herbiers which has supermarkets, restaurants and bars.
For non-anglers, there's so much to do in this area of France and the beach is under an hour away.
All of the above combined makes this lake an excellent choice for those looking for Exclusive Carp Fishing France with Accommodation.
