Heart Lake Rules
Arrival: No earlier than 3pm
Departure: Before 11am
Security Deposit: We ask for a mandatory cash deposit of €200 in case of damage. We return this on the day of departure if there is no damage.
Fishing Rules
- No-kill fishing
- To protect the site, fishing is authorised only from the three swims
- Maximum 4 rods if one angler, 3 rods each if two or three anglers
- Barbless hook only, nylon main line
- No sacking of fish
- If necessary, please apply klinik antisceptic
- Mandatory to use a XXL padded landing mat (there is also one available on site to use for free)
- Bait boats are allowed. A rowing boat with oars and life jacket is also available on site, a life jacket MUST be worn at all times
- Only tube markers are allowed
General rules
- Please leave the accommodation and surroundings as clean as you find them. If you wish you can also opt for the cleaning service at the end of your stay, which is €50 paid in cash directly to the owner
- Children are the responsibility of their parents and must be supervised by an adult at all times when fishing
- Dogs are allowed, but must be under control and cleaned up after
- Please note; towels and sheets are not provided so you're best bringing your own. However sheets can be rented if required for 12e per person, please contact the owners in advance to confirm
- Standing barbecues are allowed, no other fires
- No swimming
- For waste, France has stringent recycling rules, please respect the selective sorting (coloured bins)
- Coming to the venue confirms you and your guests agree with the terms of the venue rules. Non-compliance with the rules could result in permanent exclusion without refund
- The safety rules for the lake are mandatory and are your responsibility, thus releasing the venue's responsibility from any incident (swimming is prohibited, life jacket compulsory on the boat, only anglers to use the boat)
- The venue is not responsible in the event of theft, damage and accidents
- The fish photographs can be used commercially by the venue
- If you or a member of your party experiences any issues during your holiday, please report them immediately to the venue owner/bailiff and to Angling Lines. This allows us the opportunity to resolve the matter while you are still at the lake, in line with our holiday Terms & Conditions.
