Slow week due to spawning but had 13 carp up to 49lb plus a catfish.

22 fish 4 lost to 53.5lb smallest fish 22lb everything else was 28lb upwards.

2 cats, 2 large grass carp in the catch

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

The lake was very moody at times with activity of a few fish then long periods without. Mark added water to the lake abd catch rates improved second half of the week as the next oxygen in the water did the job. Caught from far margin tight to mud water abd snags to the right, we found moving area abd resting spits worked after a few fish then returning to them once rested. Fish pallets and boilies lots of tiny fish in the lake they don't pick baits up but you need hard hook baits or they will be gone in hrs

Yes good venue been to j7 years ago, fishing was hard at times but we had a good result in the end. Take back leads will really help and the sun is on you all day until tea time be aware and take shelters

The lake is shallow in the main 3ft no real features other than margins to go at bait and wait

General Comments:

Slow start to the week as it was really cold, by mid week lake warmed up and started to get bites. Lake is shallow but doesn't affect the fishing. Will definitely come back to Jonchery
