Fish swim 9. After a few days we realised all the fish were shoaled up in the corners of the lake. Swim 11 & 10 became available on our last full day and we manage 3 fish to 45lb

Yes, but as with previous comments this venue could do with a second toilet. The lake wasn’t at full capacity and I can’t imagine one toilet in the height of summer.

Yes, I think at the right time of year you can have numbers of fish. The fish had woken up but were still hiding in the snags and margins this time of year.

Yes, no issues at all with the booking and process.

Great Lake. Good looking fish. Needs an extra toilet. Other than that, a pleasant week.

Alan caught 9 carp two pbs 39 :08 common and a 49:10 mirror. Me I had 6 fish and a new pb of 57:10 mirror I also had fish of 49:05 mirror.

Really tough week but we did manage 2 x 40's and 4 x 30's. Biggest going 47lb 8oz. Lost several due to the fish going straight in to the back of a gravel road, which runs through the lake towards the buoys. I would definitely recommend taking a electric motor for the row boats as manually putting 3 rods at 180 yards plus is physically tough for a whole week. Also as soon as you pick up a fish, you need to follow in the boat. All the fish were holding up in the tree line by the shower block, so the guys fishing swims 10 and 2 had all the runs as no one was in 11 and 1?????

Would definitely recommend, just make sure you come prepared. Lovely lake and the fish are big and healthy.

General Comments:

Brilliant 2 weeks fishing. Caught well in excess of 50 fish. Facilities are excellent as are the bailiffs who are there when needed for advice, bait etc.
