General Comments:

Another wonderful week of fishing at a lovely peaceful venue.

Details of your catches:

Lost count after 25 carp haha! So many runs in the 5 days we were there, some really epic carp to mid 40 some of the hardest fighting carp in France from Lepinet, a really mega few days of fishing!

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We fished swim 1 towards the buoy line and the tree lined margins to our right. Combi rigs, size 4 long shanks and snowman rigs with northern 12mm special pop ups was the best tactic, baiting heavy with boilies and particle using the bait boat.

Great facilities, loads of freezer space for bait, fridges, power, hot showers so everything to make a comfortable week.

Yes, nothing to fault, everything was great

This has to be one of my favourite venues on the AL portfolio. I fished the North side back in 2023 and I loved it then and pleased to see it fishing just as well 2 years later. There are so many quality carp in this lake and it's one of those places that really gets you excited! I spoke to a guy who comes 2-3 times a year every year and he said it was his favourite lake in the world so it's clear to see why people love it so much! reading back through the reports. The lake has done weeks of over 250 carp at times which is CRAZY! Absolutely love this place, would highly recommend.

General Comments:

Absolutely awesome venue that doesn't get the recognition it deserves. I've fished 100's of venues across Europe over the past 17 years and this Is up there with the best of them. Lots of action, quality hard fighting carp and a beautiful lake to look at. If you'rE considering this one you will not be disappointed!

Details of your catches:

Between 11 anglers ( 3 anglers fishing on the north side) We had an excellent weeks fishing. Finishing the week with 221 fish. 214 carp and 7 Grass carp, biggest Grass carp was 49lb. 1 x 52lb, 11x 40lb+, 61x 30lb+, 120 x 20lb+ and 29 doubles.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fishing tight and 5 metres short of the buoys. All different baits were working. The drop in pressure and temps helped a lot. Small beds of bait seemed to work better.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities are great. Showers always hot, the fridges and freezers are more then adequate for each side of the lake. The addition of the second toilet is a great upgrade very spacious

Again 100%. We have used Angling Lines for many years. The whole process from booking to getting home, they take care of everything

General Comments:

We had an excellent, maybe you could say an unprecedented week. Certain swims fished better than most, but all swims caught fish and kept all anglers happy. I would say that the fishing was helped by the drop in pressure and temps. And the fish definitely follow the wind. We did have a lot bream, there are nets in each swim to put the bream in and the bailiff will collect them a couple times through the week. The owners are great will help out when asked but will leave you to enjoy your holiday in peace. A superb venue for social/ lake exclusive.
