we ended up with 1 x double, 7 x 20s, 10 x 30s,1 x 40 and 5 cats to over 50lbs.

Due to cold weather fish not active so just used small amounts of bait and fished to the same spots.

Were the facilities what you expected?

The cabin although not the biggest is probably the best we have stayed in, it has everything you need and comfy beds and loads of hot water, also Richard has now built an outside covered eating area. It also has Tv but we don't watch but its there if you need to.

Were you happy with them?

Yes very its all you need and very clean when you arrive and better than a lot we have stayed in.

General Comments:

A tough week with a very cold wind blowing that kept the fish quite but by sticking to the same spots picked up fish mostly in afternoons and evening, only Glen fished most nights on the odd day it was warm did see a lot of signs of feeding. Its a great lake as only two of us so could fish and meet in middle for social and not far to either rods, can also drive car around lake so no need to carry gear far. Sorry no photos as after many years of carp fishing and hundreds of photos only take pictures of pbs but some lovely carp caught. The bailiff Bob does a great job in entertaining you and the bloke he brings along not bad either but seriously Richard is a top bloke who will do anything he can to make your trip enjoyable and to catch fish.

General Comments:

The venue is perfect and would recommend it to anybody especially if it’s your first time in France. The owner / Bailiff Rick is also a great host and one of life’s true gentlemen. He was on hand and more than willing to offer help and advice in all ways from bait to rigs and location, he knows his lake inside out and will go out his way to ensure you have a good holiday and catch plenty of fish. After many years March fishing I have took to carp fishing and Rick spent hours showing & explaining lots of things which will stay with me in my carp fishing not just on this trip. Within 10 hours of my return to the UK I booked to go next year! In a nut shell great venue great Bailiff, great time.

Fantastic weeks fishing on a lovely lake in a brilliant location. Fish were all pristine condition, hard fighters, and a great variation.
Richard was a really nice, easy going chap who knows his fish and lake really well. Great advice and offers as much guidance as you may need to have a brilliant trip, but will also leave you alone to get on with your fishing. Top man!
