Quality time on the bank, 29th Oct

Myself and Mervyn fished Lillypool (5 days only). It’s always tricky this late on in the season, small presentations with minimal bait proving the most successful. From a personal point of view, it was great to spend quality time on the bank with one of our most accomplished anglers in Merv. My first ever time fishing from the island and I managed to bank a few! Well done to all this weeks guests and congrats on the pb’s!

More work to island, 10th Aug

The lakes have been closed this week for mid season work. We have focused on project island at Lilllypool this week. More improvements to the bridge and swims and the addition of the covered seating area.

Hopefully we can get the ground sorted in winter to complete the job and it will be ready for the 2025 season, giving anglers the option to fish from a central island.

Sneak Peek, 14th Dec

Around 6 weeks since our last guests and we are full throttle into the winter project at Lillypool, (xmas break aside) New arrivals for both Lillypool and Lillybelle.

5 fish for Lillypool capped by a cracking mid 40 common.
