Details of your catches:
We had 3 fish by the end of the week, the weather was insane though, 33 to 36 degrees. The fish spawned then just completely turned off.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Lake boilies red inferno, lake pellet and particles
Were the facilities what you expected?
Facilities were spot on extremely clean and everything you could want for a week fishing.

Details of your catches:
Tough week, only 14 fish caught up to 36lb 11oz. The beginning of spawning killed off the action.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Wafters over particle/pellet.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Having done a number of years doing “Drive and Survive” the facilities at Lillypool were more than adequate.

Excellent venue, great if you want a social. Plenty of power sockets on the island to charge everything you need. Richard has loads of knowledge to help with the fishing spots if you need it.

General Comments:
A great weeks fishing on a really super lake. Weather was very changeable, plenty of rain, sun and some cold nights, even a thunderstorm thrown in. Great stock of some quality carp and Richard a great host. Lots of smaller fish to get through to get to the older, bigger carp but good to have a consistent bend in the rod.

Details of your catches:
4 - 40’s largest 44lb common, 3or 4 other 30’s, rest were 20’s total caught. 34 carp mainly mirrors all very hard fighting fish. Due to travel issues we lost a day fishing.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Caught on wafters and bottom bait with fake cord toppers - baited sparingly with maize and particle and ground and flaked boilies
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes, the addition of the new Astro turf in the swims was excellent idea.
Were you happy with them?
Facilities were good - the gazebo on the island was excellent meals were mainly done in slow cooker ( that we brought) and carried across to island so we could continue fishing. Great for a social and we are back next year. Shower very good plenty of hot water. Rich the owner and bailiff very helpful and friendly
