11 carp to 41lb, we lost a few from hook pulls

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

the lillies produces the most takes for us, fishing a mix of particle and boilies. All the other runs came from the margins around the lake. Simple blowback combi rigs using double fake corn or small snowman setups wrapped in paste.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Great facilities, nice hot shower. everything you need for a great weeks fishing. The new cabin on the island is awesome for a social base and cooking and charging gear makes everything so convenient.

Yes very happy with all of the facilities at Lillypool

100%, second time back to Lillypool, an amazing venue with great fishing. the new island swims are fantastic for a social and really improved on the feel of the lake overall

General Comments:

Richard is always on hand at the lake to help you out if you need him. He has watched the lake grow and develop over the past 14/15 years so listen to his advice. The lake is a beautiful and mature venue with lots to offer, lots of hard fighting carp so there's really nothing at all to fault. :)

Managed 29 fish over the week, couple of 40s with plenty of 30s

A slow start to the week due to very high temperatures but ended the week with over 30 fish between the 3 of us. Luke had a new pb with a 44lb grass carp

Richard is a top guy looked after us through out the week with great advice on where to fish

Tough week fishing with only 8 landed on the bank, hot weather certainly made them switch off but the 8 caught ranging between 23lb - 31lb

Single wafter seemed to be the best bait that we had success with

Excellent Facilities, this has to be one of the best venues I have fished in France, have rebooked again next year
