About the Lake
The lake measures in at 10 acres, with features including an island and lily patches. You'll find good average depths of 1.8 to 3 metres, with a lake bottom of mainly silt with hard patches.
There are three swims on the point directly in front of the lakeside accommodation (ideal for up to 4 anglers) and more swim options further round the lake.
With no poisson chat, very little weed and very few snags, it is enjoyable fishing. There's the odd few crayfish but nothing that seems to cause an issue, go prepared with a deterent, like shrink wrap or similar, just incase.
Rowing boats are not allowed, but you are welcome to use your own bait boats. There is vehicle access around the lake, but only in dry weather. Cars are parked by the accommodation.
