Plump Lake Facilities

The facilities here are basic but clean and tidy. On site you'll find a simple cabin with a shower, toilet, washbasin and fridge with small freezer compartment. There are also power points for charging your phones and batteries etc (both French and UK sockets).

Outside there is a sociable covered dining area with a table and chairs, big enough for 4 to 6 people.

Important things to note
The electricity is solar powered, so please be mindful of this. The cabin is connected to the mains water supply, making the water safe to drink.

There is only a small freezer compartment within the standing fridge, ideal for icepacks but not large enough to store frozen bait - boilies should be air-dried or fresh. You may also wish to bring your own coolers / gas fridge or similar if you intend to take a lot of food and drink that needs to remain chilled.

Phone signal and 3G/4G coverage is good, though this may vary depending on your provider. There is no WiFi available on-site.

The property is situated on the outskirts of La Flèche, a charming historic town in the Sarthe department of the Pays de la Loire region. Set along the Loir River, La Flèche is known for its beautiful architecture, riverside setting and renowned zoo.

Everyday amenities are conveniently close by, with the nearest commercial area just 1.6 km away, offering supermarkets, a pharmacy and other useful services. The nearest hospital is approximately 20 minutes away by car.

The famous Zoo de La Flèche is less than 2 km away, and visitors may occasionally hear the sea lions, monkeys, lions and hyenas from the property. Just outside the town centre, Lac de La Monnerie has a beach area and is a fantastic spot for a family day trip, with opportunities for swimming and kayaking.
