Renarde Facilities
The on-site facilities here are no frills - they consist of a cabin with wet room shower and toilet (newly installed in 2020). There is also a separate area where you can charge batteries and phones (this is split so each swim has their own area). There is a fridge on site but no freezer. Please note that toilet roll is not provided, so we recommend bringing your own.
Because of the rural location this is not mains electricity - it is supplied by solar power, backed up by batteries. Generally, phone signal and 3G coverage is good at the lake. Additionally, there is no mains water supply and therefore, freshwater is delivered and stored for use. Although the water is clean and perfectly safe for showering etc, we advise you to bring your own bottled drinking water.
So, whilst the facilities are certainly nothing fancy, you have what you need.

Supermarkets, tabac, restaurants, bars and petrol stations are just 9 minutes drive away in Chateau le Brienne, where a small tackle shop also offers limited carp tackle and bait.
