Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Two different methods I sat it out boilie only a lot of boilie in Nutrabaits Trigga with pineapple and a special one made by nutrabaits for me was Blue oyster with pineapple Martin and Rob used pellets and smaller baits both worked
Were the facilities what you expected?
Basic as told but they were clean and worked, I was there for the fish not the facilities
Were you happy with them?
Very they were there and clean what more do you want
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

4 carp to low 30s, 2 cats 30lb/40lb
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Boilie/particle
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes
Were you happy with them?
Yes
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes later on in the year when the water has heated up a bit
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Yes
General Comments:
Postcode would of been nice for sat nav **Angling Lines note** I'm afraid that the post code system you find in the UK does not exist in France, they only have area codes that cover a larger area. We therefore have to supply latitude and longitude co-ordinates but you can input these on all sat navs - however we do understand the screen to do so sometimes takes a bit of finding.

3rd May to 10th May 2014
2 anglers
Details of your catches:
We fished swims 15 & 16, I had 25 takes, landing 13 carp up to 42lb, a sturgeon at 38lb and 3 large bream from swim 15. My friend fished swim 16 and landed 4 carp up to 42lb and 2 catfish to 30lb and lost a handful.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
I seemed to receive most action over just boilie tight to the back of the island, the more boilie I put in the more action I received.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes, they were described as basic, which they were, but they were a lot better than I expected and very clean.
Were you happy with them?
Yes
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Absolutely, an untouched little gem!
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Absolutely, takes all the stress out of organising a French trip.
General Comments:
The lake and surroundings are absolutely stunning, the lake has many many large snags under and above the water and I found a boat is essential which can be hired for the week at the venue. It seemed we were quite lucky with the carp we landed as most of the other anglers seemed to land a lot of other species, catfish, sturgeon, bream, etc.

Details of your catches:
Not a thing
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Tried everything I knew, but nothing worked
Were the facilities what you expected?
Knew they were basic, but not as basic as I expected
Were you happy with them?
They could be better (but then again they could be worse), but as the lake has been 'on the go' for some time it's about time they were sorted
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
This was my first visit to the lake, the majority of the other anglers were on repeat visits, so maybe I shouldn't let a bad week cloud my judgement.
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Yes, but only if I get a new Angling Lines baseball cap! **A.L note - One on the way to you Bill!**
General Comments:
What is it with lake Owners in France and Sturgeon - I hate the damn things. When I go Carp fishing I want to catch Carp - big ones, I don't want to catch Sturgeon or Catfish, regardless of how big they are!
