I landed 16 carp upto 54lb 13oz 2 of wich were 50s with 5 of them being over 40lb and only 3 below the 30lb mark.
Dan landed 7 carp to 41lb 5oz with only 3 being below 30lb

We also landed cats upto 75lb.

Finding some clear spots just off the weed beds baiting little and often.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Just what we needed. A kitchen area with fridge and freezer and somewhere for a nice warm shower.

Yes, we really enjoyed our stay and will 100% be back in the next year or two.

100%. It was our 1st time using angling lines. Very glad we did. We had a few hiccups along the way but everything was sorted very quickly. With it being my 1st trip into France I had a lot of questions. Bridget was an absolute star and helped with anything and everything I needed. Thankyou. We will be using your services in the near future.

General Comments:

Sophie the Lady looking after the lake is absolutely lovely. Very helpful with directions and anything on the local area. The lake is very nice. Good fish stock and was a lovely place to spend the week. If you can find your spots and get on the fish. There are some stunners to be had!

Bait boat trout pellets and sweet corn fishing the opposite margins from the point all hook baits seem to be working pop ups

We got lucky having the lake to just two of us but not sure about more than four anglers that time of year, may be better in the spring onwards.

General Comments:

The lady was helpful as she could, she is running it for her sick dad. I really enjoy our week, I had 9 carp to 55lb 15oz mirror, 4 cats to 100lb plus. My mate had 2x40 biggest 41lb 8oz, 4 cats biggest was 114lb.

Overall the lake exceeded my expectations, we were lucky enough to have the lake to ourselves and wouldn't recommend more than 4 anglers

We caught carp but lost more than landed as a problem with sharp weed beds

A must to drop all leads to get the fish up in the water as early as possible

Yes, had better but had far worse

The lake once its been sorted of its sharp weed as a group of people couldn't fish it at the moment, stunning fish, quality size and especially Sophie, what a lovely lady.

Angling Lines sorted everything as we changed the time outbound and returned on Friday at short notice. Brilliant service from all at Angling Lines.

General Comments:

Definitely booking this lake again next year through this company.
*Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback Gary, as discussed, the lake will be treated this winter so that the weed is not a problem from 2023 onwards. The intense weather this year really did contribute to the weed being an issue.
