General Comments:

What a wonderful time we had Beaurepaire last week. Sophie was really welcoming and helpful, paying us several visits throughout week. We all caught really well, with several Pb's and are looking to book again for next year. A beautiful little lake with plenty of good fish and very good facilities.

General Comments:

Sophie was great the facilities were basic but more than adequate, fish started spawning on our arrival so fishing was very slow. Sophie told us it had not been fishing well but hey we cannot control that. Lake is definitely not big enough for 8 anglers.

We recommend the lake for up to 6 anglers and limit it to 6 on any non-exclusive weeks where groups are sharing. We only allow up to 8 anglers where the lake is booked exclusively for the week.

Excellent stamp of fish in this lake, all carp caught from 29 to 45.5lb, including three grass carp, the largest at 37lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Small baits, tiger nuts over particles produced the most fish. The boilies from FAE were excellent fresh baits too.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Excellent facilities, UK and EU plug sockets, two showers with nice hot water. A large chest freezer, and several fridges.

Were you happy with them?

Sophie was an excellent host, everything was clean and tidy on arrival.

We fished mainline cell to start with had a few. Then we tried 2 pieces of sweetcorn topped with a pop up sweetcorn and it worked amazing. Brett catching 12 fish, Darren catching 4 fish and I also caught 4 fish.
