Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes, 2 hot showers, but only 1 toilet, kitchen fitted with a micro wave, kettle, toaster, 2 fridges, and a large chest freezer

Were you happy with them?

Yes, but could do with another toilet

Only in the drier months, as the banks are quite dodgy when wet, and we had a storm, and because the ground was too soft to hold the pegs, our bivvy folded back, not good,
It is a nice lake, but we had snow on the way, and minus 3 temps, so should have fished in July or August maybe

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

No, and I have probably used angling lines for the last time.
We were initially booked for September 2020, because of covid, we had to change the date, which we did, when we couldn't go on that trip, we contacted angling lines to ask for a refund, and we're told we could only move the date, and no refund will be given, I know other groups got refunds, including some of our clubmembers, we felt pressured into picking a new date, and because its my wife's 50th birthday this may, we had a lot of dates unavailable to us, we chose the 2nd April under protest, well we've just got back from a lovely looking lake, but had minus 3 temps, snow, heavy rain and high winds, 3 of the 4 anglers didn't get a bite, and we tried every method and bait we could, so to say we were disappointed, is an understatement.

*Angling Lines note* Our policy was always to move holidays if requirements meant that the original date wasn't viable through no fault of the lake owner or customer. In February 2021 none of the later 2021 dates suited your party and so we also gave the choice of any available 2022 date (of which there were other dates later in the season too). We do believe this policy was the fair and right one, but of course we are deeply disappointed that it wasn't satisfactory for your party and that coupled with what was essentially terrible weather for this time of year, the fishing wasn't as we would all hope.

General Comments:

Lovely lake, banks are a bit dodgy, so I would only fish this lake in the warmer months, when the spit is able to be fished, or make make top track more big/med van friendly

Ok basic but just about manageable, we lost electricity for a few days but they did try and sort asap

This is my 3rd time at Beaurepaire and know imo could do with a revamp fishing was slow but that’s fishing previously was very good with plenty of runs, electricity was a problem especially when self-catering but like I said Sophie was soon on it
