General Comments:

This was our second visit and unfortunately our last until the lake undergoes some serious changes. The second spit needs completely removing as 95% of the fish came from the cabin side of the lake. (I understand they tried to deepen the channel in the winter but were unsuccessful) but we feel it needs completely removing. The lake needs netting and the small cats and bream removing as the current system for removing the cats just won’t work. We also found the lake full of snags which cost us a fair few fish. This lake has massive potential but needs a lot of work first.

*Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback. The lake do intend to finish the work to the spit that was rained off part-way through last winter. We believe that the smaller catfish population has been reduced over the last year, but will discuss the bream and snags you mention with the lake owners.

Small beds of bait as bream were a nightmare over a big baited area! Fishing was slow as water level seemed very high but was dropping very quickly. Weather was very hot. Had to move swims for the last 2 nights and more bites came.

Spot on! Cabins were clean and tidy, plenty of freezer space.

Yes no problems at all.

Yes but only if water level as at normal levels

Sophie is lovely and nothing is too much bother, left us to it but popped in a couple of times to check if we were ok.

General Comments:

Good trip, hot in the day most fish were at dusk/dawn or at night with a few in the day. Good fun and fish were spread evenly thru the week.

Facilities were as expected, water ran out during the week but one phonecall to Sophie and that was sorted quickly.
