We Caught 90 fish (carp and catfish) and about 10 bream. The biggest catfish being 52 lbs and the biggest carp was 45lbs. we managed 8 grass carp with the biggest 36lbs.

Cell And Chronic Seemed to be the best with a few fish being picked up on the rahja spice

General Comments:

The water levels were well high with the spit being completely un recognisable. I would definitely recommend a good mozzy spray as I got bitten about 50 times.

55 fish.
Carp to 46lbs, catfish 48lbs, grass carp 28lbs, 3 small common carp, too many bream to mention on top of 55 fish.

General Comments:

Water level high.
Many fish lost in weed.
In general, an enjoyable holiday.

Details of your catches:

Carp turned off and cats turned on. Saying that, I had new PB with a 42lb mirror, and Dave had his PB with a 40lb 7oz mirror. Only 6 carp between us all, but plenty of cat's the biggest being 42,46,48,50 & 51 lb and all gave great sport. We also had a few bream.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We tried everything, but single bollie topped with fake corn seemed to produce the only results, including cat's!

Were the facilities what you expected?

They were fine, plenty of hot water for showers,fridge/freezer space, plus electric points for charging. We didn't use the cooking facilities as we set up our own at the lakeside.

Were you happy with them?

Yes, suited our needs with no problems.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes, although we had a difficult time due to water levels, and feel that we didn't get the best from this lake as a result, but would love to come back again with the levels right.

Yes, as always you looked after us, even managing to get our change of vehicle sorted at the last minute with no extra charge.

General Comments:

The water level was some 2 mtrs up on arrival, but dropped up to 6" a day! The spit was unrecognisable, and the margins changed daily, our group had to split up half way through the week as 2 of them found themselves fishing over 5 mtrs of boggy land one morning.

Details of your catches:

With just four anglers we caught a total of 57 fish: 3 bream, 4 common-carp to 14lbs, 3 small catfish to 10lbs, 1 grasscarp 35lbs and 46 mirror-carp to 44lbs.

We used boilies and mais.

Yes good, we have been there last year. But a big improvement was that rowing-boat has an electrical motor now.

The waterlevel was extremely high for the time of the year. Last year the spit was dry, now there was at least 4 foot of water on the spit.
