the whole groupe caught nothing not even a run the lake was about 10ft over depth so we had to bivvy up on the road with deep ruts. the lake was frozen over for two days so vertualy unfishable.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We tried all types of bait ie= boilies /partical /diffrent types of rigs but could not buy a bite we did not even see signes of a fish

Were the facilities what you expected?

the facilities were good the kitchen was very good with 2 fridges and a freezer. plenty of hot water.The shower was also very good. the other cabin was clean and nice and warm spent a lot of time in there.

Were you happy with them?

very happy. My only moan is they could have had a mop and bucket as the shower room got very wet after showering and they need a broom to keep the kitchen floor clean

Hard to tell as we did not see the lake at its best

I could not fault your sevices they were very good.Your directions were easy to follow and no problems with the ferry crossing.

General Comments:

The lake was a lovely place owner was a nice bloke fish was in excellent condition. Fishing was very hard due to the drop in temp but its what was expected. The only concern for me was the massive coypu rats. Which are pest. But the owner said they are trying to get rid of them.

21 carp in total, 7 in mid to high 30's, 12 mid to high 20's, one at 41lb and one over 46lb 8oz.

Yes adequate everyone comments need a ladder to get into shower :-)

Yes - All five of us went home happy even though the weather was wet and cold.

18mm and 14mm Mailine Cell Boilies
Pin your lines down to Lake bed.
Feed little and often, especially just after you catch a fish.
Most Carp huddle up at far right hand corner of Lake when fishing from the end of the point.

General Comments:

Bernard ( The owner ) runs this lake perfectly. He visits the lake a couple a times during the week and lets you get on with it. Nice.
